The Narmada river cruise
at the Statue of Unity
When people ask for a Narmada river cruise here, the official ticket list calls it the Ekta Cruise: a return boat between Shreshtha Bharat Bhavan and the statue. It is one of several boats. They are not interchangeable.
Which boat is which
Checked against the official attraction list and rate chart on soutickets.in in October 2026. The Ekta Cruise line there says the service runs from Shreshtha Bharat Bhavan to the Statue of Unity on the Narmada and includes the return. The same list gives Tuesday to Sunday, 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, ₹413 for an adult and ₹207 for a child.
The rate chart is more specific about slots and ages. Ekta Cruise slots are 8:15–9:00, 10:00–10:45, 12:00–12:45, 2:00–2:45 and 4:00–4:45. On that chart an adult is above 6 years and a child is 0 to 6 years, which is a different age cut from the monument ticket. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the slot. The chart’s closing time for this ride is 5:00 PM.

What we can book, and what we cannot pretend to sell
SOU Booking arranges Statue of Unity packages, stays and cabs. A standalone cruise ticket is an official ticket. Book that on soutickets.in if you only need the boat. If you want the cruise considered alongside a room or the Classic Day package, send the date on WhatsApp and we will say whether that slot can sit inside the day. We do not sell a separate “Narmada cruise package” with its own unpublished price.
Gujarat Tourism describes a different boat as well: Nauka Vihar at Panchmuli Lake, about 45 minutes, run as a forest-department activity. That is the Nauka Vihar row above, not the Ekta Cruise.
How to fit it into a day
The last daytime Ekta Cruise slot on the rate chart starts at 4:00 PM and the ride’s listed close is 5:00 PM. The projection mapping on the official attractions page is at 7:30 PM, after the cruise window. A group that wants both should treat them as two bookings, not one ticket.
The statue complex itself is closed on Mondays. Gujarat Tourism says the monument opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday, and that it is closed on Monday for maintenance. The official attractions page lists the monument as Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with last entry at 6:00 PM. Use the ticket you are buying, and the day of the week, rather than one blended timetable.
