A hotel + tickets package is easier to compare when you know exactly what the total covers. Before choosing the lowest headline price, ask for the same room, dates, guests and attractions in each quote.

This checklist is for travellers combining a Kevadia stay with sightseeing. If you are still choosing a trip type, start with our hotel + sightseeing packages. Once you have a shortlist, use the questions below to compare it fairly.

1. Does the quote cover everyone travelling?

Write down the adults, children and each child's age. Ask whether the amount is per person, per room, per night or for the whole trip. A total for two adults is not comparable with a price for one traveller, even when both say “starting from”.

2. Which room are you actually booking?

A property name alone is not a room description. Ask for the room category, number of rooms, bedding and any extra-bed arrangement. If you need a ground-floor room, rooms together or a specific view, ask whether the property has confirmed it or only received a request.

3. How many nights and sightseeing days are included?

Two days and one night can mean an afternoon arrival followed by a morning departure. Share your actual arrival and departure plans. Check whether the sightseeing fits those usable hours, rather than assuming the package gives you two full days at the attractions.

4. Which meals are included?

List breakfast, lunch and dinner separately for each date. Ask what happens if you arrive after a meal service or leave before breakfast. Check children's meal charges and any dietary requirements before paying. “Meals included” needs more detail to be useful.

5. Which attraction tickets are named?

Ask for an itemised list rather than accepting “sightseeing included”. If the Viewing Gallery matters to you, check that it appears explicitly. An evening show, garden visit or other attraction should also be listed individually with any availability conditions. See our experience guides to build your own shortlist.

6. Are transfers separate from sightseeing?

Getting from your home city to Kevadia, reaching the hotel from a station and travelling between attractions are different journeys. Ask which are covered, where pickup happens and whether a transfer is private or shared. For a private taxi, clarify the route, waiting time and additional charges.

7. Is this the amount you will pay?

Ask for the final payable total, including applicable taxes and any quoted supplements. Check the payment schedule and what is due later. If a supplier charge is still unknown, ask for it to be resolved before treating the quote as a fixed total.

8. What happens if your plans change?

Read cancellation and amendment conditions for the actual room and ticket arrangement. Ask whether changing dates is possible and what charges apply. Our cancellation policy explains the general process; your quote should identify the terms that apply to your booking.

9. What confirms the booking?

Keep the written inclusions, payment acknowledgement and supplier confirmation together. An enquiry or availability request does not reserve a room or ticket. Check the guest names, dates and contact number again when the confirmation arrives.

A message you can send to compare quotes

“Please quote for [adults and children's ages], [arrival date/time] to [departure date/time]. Include the room category, meals by date, named attraction tickets, pickup/drop, final total and cancellation terms.”

Use the same message for every shortlisted plan. It makes differences easier to spot and helps your travel team recommend a package that matches the trip you actually want.
