The Uphill Stretch

The tandem route includes a roughly 800-metre uphill section. Most riders manage it, but you may need to dismount and walk the bike rather than pedal straight through — we'd rather tell you now than have it be a surprise mid-ride.

Helmets

Helmets are strongly recommended for both riders. Ask at check-in if they aren't already with your bike.
